Invitara ("we," "us," "our") is an online platform that helps individuals and businesses create, share, and manage digital event invitations.

2. Information we collect

Account data: name, email, phone number, profile photo.
Invitation content: text, photos, videos, music, and guest details you upload.
Payment data: processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store full card details.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser metadata.
RSVP data: responses your guests submit to invitations you publish.

3. How we use your information

To provide and operate the service.
To process payments and issue invoices (GST-compliant).
To send transactional emails (account, billing, reminders).
To improve the product and develop new features.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Third-party services

We share limited data with the following processors:

Supabase — database and authentication.
Razorpay — payment processing.
Vercel / Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
Email provider — transactional notifications.

5. Data retention

We retain account data while your account is active. Published invitations remain online until you delete them or until the event expiry date you set. You may request full deletion at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, and delete your personal data. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also nominate a representative. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and analytics cookies to understand usage. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

8. Children

Invitara is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
